Coming out Being gay, bi or trans isn't always easy, particularly at the beginning. The first step for many people is to come out to themselves and accept and be comfortable with who they are and how they feel. This can take some time and for some can be a very confusing and stressful time. Some other common worries or concerns people have around coming out to others are –
